Authors of submitted papers have been notified of a decision on their paper on June 6, 2014. Thank you for submitting! The following information is provided to assist accepted authors in the preparation of their papers. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.<\/p>\n

Final publication-ready versions<\/b>\u00a0of accepted papers must be uploaded to EDAS<\/span>\u00a0no later than 23:59 EST August 8, 2014.\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0Late submissions cannot be accepted.<\/span><\/h2>\n

The following guidelines will assist authors of accepted papers in the final submission process:<\/p>\n

  1. Revise manuscript based on the reviews received.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Please ensure the following EDAS instructions are followed:<\/strong>\n
      \n
    1. Do not include page numbers<\/li>\n
    2. Do not include headers or footers<\/li>\n
    3. Provide top and bottom margins of at least 0.5 inches<\/li>\n
    4. The final version of a paper must be submitted in PDF format.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    5. Use the (free) IEEE PDF eXpress service to perform all verification checks. This\u00a0ensures the final PDF version of your paper is compatible with IEEE\u00a0Xplore<\/i>\u00ae.<\/strong>\n

      2. Register for the conference.<\/strong>\n

        2. Please recall the registration policy: To be published in the IoT 2014 Conference Proceedings and IEEE\u00a0Xplore<\/i>\u00ae, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference and must present the paper at the conference. Registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final publication-ready version of the paper.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        3. Upload the final, camera-ready version of your paper in (certified by IEEE PDF eXpress) to EDAS.\u00a0<\/strong>\n
            \n
          1. Login to EDAS:\u00a0\u00a0http:\/\/www.edas.info\/<\/a><\/li>\n
          2. Click on \u201cupload\u201d beside your paper.\u00a0 On the next page, click on \u201cupload or fill out copyright form\u201d hyperlink at the bottom of the page.\u00a0 This redirects you to the IEEE eCopyright website.<\/li>\n
          3. Proceed to the IEEE eCopyright site, answer the questions, complete the form, and \u201csubmit\u201d.<\/li>\n
          4. Return to EDAS (a copyright symbol \u2013 \u00a9 \u2013 should now appear next to the paper title).<\/li>\n
          5. Click on \u201cupload\u201d beside your paper.<\/li>\n
          6. Check the box acknowledging the IEEE policy on plagiarism.<\/li>\n
          7. Click browse and navigate to the PDF file processed by IEEE PDF eXpress that you saved on your computer.<\/li>\n
          8. Click \u201csubmit\u201d.<\/li>\n
          9. Verify that the PDF in EDAS is the file that was uploaded.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            IEEE PDF eXpress for IoT 2014 Authors<\/h2>\n

            IEEE PDF eXpress is a free service for IoT 2014 conference authors, enabling them to create IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs or to check PDFs created elsewhere for IEEE Xplore compatibility.\u00a0 Final papers must be in IEEE Xplore-compatible format for publication.<\/p>\n

            1. Click the \u201cNew Users \u2013 Click here\u201d link<\/li>\n
            2. Enter 33048X<\/b>\u00a0for the Conference ID, your e-mail address, and choose a new password.\u00a0 Continue to enter information as prompted.<\/li>\n
            3. Check that the contact information is still valid, and click \u201cSubmit\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              An online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.<\/p>\n

              Previous users \u00a0– using PDF eXpress for the first time for IoT 2014<\/h3>\n
                \n
              1. Enter\u00a033048X<\/b>\u00a0for the Conference ID, your e-mail address, and enter the password used for your old account.<\/li>\n
              2. When you click \u201cLogin\u201d, you will receive an error saying you need to set up an account.\u00a0 Simply click \u201cContinue\u201d.\u00a0 By entering your previously used e-mail address and password combination, you will enable your old account for access to the IoT 2014 conference.<\/li>\n

                  Submitting a file for PDF check<\/h3>\n
                    \n
                  1. For each conference paper, click \u201cCreate New Title\u201d<\/li>\n
                  2. Enter identifying text for the paper (title is recommended but not required)<\/li>\n
                  3. Click \u201cSubmit File for Checking or Converting\u201d<\/li>\n
                  4. Click \u201cBrowse\u201d and navigate to file, and click \u201cUpload File\u201d.\u00a0 You will receive online and e-mail confirmation of successful upload.<\/li>\n
                  5. You will receive an e-mail with your Checked PDF or IEEE PDF eXpress converted PDF attached.\u00a0 If you submitted a PDF for checking, the e-mail will show if your file passed or failed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    When the PDF check passes<\/h3>\n

                    When the PDF file passes the PDF check and you are satisfied with your file, you can submit your paper. The file returned by the PDF check will be labeled within its document properties as being \u201cCertified by IEEE PDF eXpress\u201d with an exact date and time stamp. The certified file is the file that you should submit.<\/p>\n

                    When the PDF check fails<\/h3>\n

                    If the submitted file fails the PDF check, you should read the PDF Check Report, make corrections, and re-submit the file.\u00a0 You can click the \u201cget solutions\u201d link on your account home page to get a detailed explanation of the possible report responses and instructions on fixing them.\u00a0 The same information can be found at\u00a0http:\/\/www.pdf-express.org\/pdfcheck.asp<\/a>.\u00a0 You can also request technical help through your account home page.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
