The 7th International Conference on the Internet of Things (IoT\u00a02017) will feature workshops to stimulate more in-depth discussions on emerging\u00a0IoT\u00a0topics such as privacy and security or the need for open data standards. We would like to cordially invite you to submit workshop proposals for both, Scientific as well as Industrial workshops,\u00a0and tutorials.<\/p>\n
The objective of a Scientific Workshop at\u00a0IoT\u00a02017 is to give researchers the opportunity to present and receive feedback on early research results. The objective of an Industrial Workshop is to create an environment for\u00a0IoT\u00a0pioneers and practitioners in industry to share hands-on experience with\u00a0IoT\u00a0systems (use cases, deployments, architectures, etc.) Tutorials are supposed to teach participants hands-on practical knowledge about emerging\u00a0IoT\u00a0technologies and enable them to use the learned technology for their own projects.<\/p>\n
Your proposal should provide the following information:<\/p>\n
Workshop organizers should submit their proposals to the\u00a0IoT\u00a02017 workshop co-chairs by email (workshops@iot-conference.org) no later than\u00a0May 6th 2017<\/strong>. PDF format is preferred. Please use \u201cIoT\u00a02017 Workshop Proposal\u201d in the subject line.<\/p>\n Each proposal will be evaluated based on the submitted\u00a0information and a limited number of workshop proposals will be accepted to\u00a0IoT\u00a02017. Workshop organizers are strongly encouraged to submit their proposals as early as possible since proposals are continuously evaluated \u2013 we might thus be able to accept successful proposals earlier and thus allow more time for advertising the event. All workshop participants will be required to register for the full conference as well. Workshop organizers will receive one complimentary conference ticket for one organizer or one workshop participant.<\/p>\n Papers of scientific workshops will only be made available to the attendees of the Internet of Things 2017 conference.
