IoT systems involve interacting, heterogeneous, distributed,\nand intelligent things, both from the digital and physical worlds including the\nhuman in the loop. Thanks to the increasingly wide spectrum of applications and\ncheap availability of both network connectivity and devices, a number of\ndifferent stakeholders from industry, academia, society and government are part\nof the IoT ecosystem.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Challenges include: better understanding of IoT applications in terms of\nscalability and heterogeneity; reliable communication in constantly changing\nnetworks and traffic scenarios; ability to mask high-latency; secure\ninformation handling and privacy preservation; integrating and mediating things\nwithin intelligent systems, where IoT technologies are potential catalysts;&nbsp;\naddressing impending social and societal impacts vital to the success of the\nIoT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The International Conference on the Internet of Things has become the premier gathering place where visionary, groundbreaking research in the IoT field, is showcased by researchers and leading industry experts. Since its beginning in 2008, the conference has been backed by strong support from leading academic institutions as well as industry.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Topics of Interests<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>IoT 2020 solicits original, high impact research papers on all topics\nrelated to the development and adoption of the Internet of Things \u2013 topics of\ninterest include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>IoT Edge and Cloud Architectures<\/li><li>AI for IoT<\/li><li>Web of Things<\/li><li>IoT Communication Technologies<\/li><li>Energy Efficiency and Sustainability in IoT<\/li><li>Sensing, Signal Processing, Actuation and Analytics<\/li><li>Security and Privacy in IoT<\/li><li>Human Interaction with IoT<\/li><li>Self-adaptation for IoT Systems<\/li><li>(Software) Interoperability in IoT<\/li><li>Large-scale Data Processing<\/li><li>Robotic IoT Systems<\/li><li>Distributed Ledger Technologies for IoT <\/li><li>Real-world Applications, Deployments, and Testbeds<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Submission Information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\">Papers for the technical track must be submitted via the EasyC<span class=\"has-inline-color has-very-dark-gray-color\">hair (<\/span><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=iot20200\">https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=iot20200<\/a><\/span>) conference system, written in English, and contain original material that has not been published or is currently undergoing review elsewhere. Papers should not exceed 8 double-column pages, including figures and references. Papers must use the new<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.acm.org\/publications\/proceedings-template\" target=\"_blank\"> <span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">ACM master article template<\/span><\/a>. Papers will be peer-reviewed by at least three experts from the technical program committee following a single-blind review process (i.e., the identity of the reviewer is hidden, but the authors\u2019 names and affiliations should be included in the submission). The papers will be evaluated based on relevance, soundness, novelty, practical relevance and potential impact. Accepted papers will be listed on DBLP and published via the ACM Digital Library within its International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS). We plan to invite authors of selected papers to extend their contributions for inclusion in journal special issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Camera-ready instructions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\">You should have received an email containing instructions for completing the ACM rights management form -there is a chance that it went in your SPAM folder: please check it.<br><br>After you signed the ACM rights management form, you should receive by email the correct rights text and bibliographic strip to place within your paper.
