Please make sure you understand and agree with the following terms and conditions:

  • At least one author of each accepted paper or invited poster needs to purchase a “Author / Full Registration (non-student)”.
  • Student and ACM-member registration require proof of status upon request.
  • The registration for participation at the IoT conference is binding. No refunds are issued.
  • In exceptional cases, you may designate a person to attend the conference in your place. If you wish to use this option, you must inform us by e-mail.
  • The registration fee is due immediately upon registration. A right to participate exists only after receipt of the full registration fee.
  • The conference program is subject to change.
  • In case of cancellation of the conference, your payments will be refunded. The organiser has no further obligations towards the participant.
  • We will collect media content (video & pictures) during IoT 2024 that will be posted on IoT 2024 social media accounts and will be used for project-related dissemination. If you do not wish to appear in this content, please contact us at (contact e-mail will follow shortly).

Our purposes of processing your

In case you wish to attend the event, the provision of your personal data, as collected with the on-line form, is necessary for us in order to organizing the event.

More specifically, we process the personal data we collect from you for the following purposes:
  • Communicating with the speakers and media
  • Organizing and communicating practical matters related to seminar venues, catering, etc

The collection and processing of your personal data is necessary for our legitimate interest in organizing the event.
Recipients of your personal data
  • Organizing committee of the event in question
  • Lyyti Ltd according to the principles stated in their Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
All the personal data collected from you will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). No data will be transferred outside the EU or the EEA.
Storage period of your personal
data
Full personal information as we collect here: 12 months from the time of collection.
Other information You have the right to request from us access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing concerning yourself or to object to processing, as well as the right to data portability, as stated in the GDPR. The applicability of such rights are specified more in detail in the GDPR.

We do not use your personal data for other purposes (than those mentioned in this Privacy Policy), as an example we do not make profiles or automated decisions with your personal data.
