15:30-16:30 Panel Discussion Car as an IoT Device
Could vehicles be seen as complicated IoT devices? Producing data, moving around, and equally personal to smartphones and wearables, cars have become the newest computing devices. With large initiatives to establish software-defined vehicle and enable data-centric access in internal vehicular sensors, we need to start discussing challenges regarding future cars’ ML/AI, sensing, privacy, and security challenges.
The discussion is joined by Dr. Rose Sturm from Mercedes-Benz AG, Germany, Dr. Florian Wolling from TU Wien, Austria, and Prof. Ella Peltonen from University of Oulu, Finland.
